Publishing your writing can bring a sense of accomplishment at a job well done. This might mean sending a letter to your congressperson, school board, local paper, favorite author, favorite person, or even to the United Nations. It might mean presenting a children’s folk or fairy tale to a younger audience. It may also mean submitting a poem, essay, or story to a magazine, writing contest, or an online magazine. Whatever avenue you choose to follow in your quest for publication, make sure that you are satisfied with the final piece before submitting it. Following are links to a few subscription and online magazines and sites that publish student writings. Congratulations on reaching the final step in your writing!
