CVCV serves the students and teachers of the Buffalo Public Schools by helping them to learn new literacies through powerful technology. Partial funding for the project is provided by UB's Graduate School of Education and BPS and goes towards mini-DV cameras, eMac computers, professional development, teacher reunions, support for technology and research, and also consumables, such as mini-DV tapes, DVD's & CD-ROM.

This year the project is scaling-up to serve additional BPS classrooms and students. We are documenting the impact of the program on student achievement over time. Based on our research, we are developing materials (print & DVD) to help teachers everywhere infuse digital video tools into the curriculum to meet learning standards.
