How to Apply

UB Students

UB Students should log onto MyUB to register for courses through the HUB. Please be sure to check with your academic advisor to confirm this is an acceptable elective for your major. There are no wait lists for these classes; if the class is full, consider taking it the following semester.

Non UB Students

Non-UB students should complete a non-matriculated student application in order to enroll in individual UB courses. A non-matriculated student is a student who is enrolled but is not accepted to the University in a degree-granting program. Non-matriculated students should complete the following steps in order to register:

1) Apply as a non-matriculated student

2) Provide proof of immunization

In accordance with New York State Public Health Law, UB requires that all students (undergraduate, graduate, professional) born on or after January 1, 1957 must provide proof of immunity against measles, mumps, and rubella. The state also requires that all students receive information about meningococcal disease and have made an informed decision about whether or not to receive immunization against meningococcal disease. UB students will not be allowed to register for classes until they have fulfilled these requirements. Please visit the Health Services website for more information.

3) Look for the automated email from UB

Once the non-matriculated application is approved, you will receive an automated email from UB to get you up and running as a new UB student. As soon as you receive the email you will be able to register through MyUB.
