Education Studies

This master’s program does not require a focus area. It can designed to meet the interests and needs of the student and tailored to their professional and academic needs.

This program of study is targeted at students whose goals are broad, interdisciplinary, and flexible. Graduate students can pursue areas of focus allowing them to take maximum advantage of courses and resources in the Graduate School of Education (GSE).

Please note: Other focus areas can be created to meet student's professional goals.

Matt Shepard Is a Friend of Mine

"Fifteen years ago, on the night of October 6, 1998, two men lured Matthew Shepard, a gay freshman at the University of Wyoming, from a bar in Laramie, WY. He was kidnapped and driven to a field where he was tortured and tethered to a fence and left to die. Never regaining consciousness, Matthew succumbed to the severe injuries from the attack and died on October 12, 1998.
