Call for Submissions to Volume 2 of "School Counselors Share Their Favorite Group Activities"

Call for Authors from the Association for Specialists in Group Work

The Association for Specialists in Group Work (ASGW) published a popular book School Counselors Share Their Favorite Group Activities. Due to continued interest, ASGW plans to publish a second edition of this book, School Counseling Activities for Small Groups: A Guide to Planning, Conducting, and Processing, edited by Rebecca A. Schumacher and Khristi Keefe. We are currently seeking activities for this publication.

Education Studies, EdM: Focus Area in Comparative and Global Education (CGE)

Students who select this focus area will receive the Master’s of Education (Ed.M.) degree in Education Studies. The focus area in Comparative and Global Education (CGE) is noted on the diploma. The CGE focus area is designed for students who are interested in studying education in broad-based social, cultural, and linguistic contexts. Students in this focus area seek to understand the global issues that affect educational practices and outcomes in schools, communities, and educational systems on local and global levels.

Education Studies, EdM: Focus Area in Educational Culture, Policy and Society (ECPS)

The ECPS Master’s focus area is designed for students who wish to explore the role that education, including but not limited to P-16+, plays in the larger society. We pay special attention to institutions, policies and practices that facilitate individuals’ well-being and social and economic outcomes, as well as those that limit them.
