Dr. Gloria Lee Received Two Excellence in Research Awards

Gloria LeeDr. Gloria Lee, associate professor from the Department of Counseling, School, and Educational Psychology, received a first place Excellence in Research Award from the American Rehabilitation Counseling Association in two consecutive years.

Dr. Lee, with co-authors Fong Chan and Norman Berven, received the 2008 award for their 2007 Rehabilitation Counseling article "Factors Affecting Depression Among People with Chronic Musculoskeletal Pain: A Structural Equation Model." The 2009 award, with co-authors Julie Chronister and Malachy Bishop, was for the 2008 Rehabilitation Counseling Bulletin article "The Effects of Psychosocial Factors on Quality of Life Among Individuals with Chronic Pain."
