After you have registered for your courses (using your Social Security Number with the phone system BIRD) you will be able to obtain a UB ID card. This card establishes your person number which is used to access various library online databases and UB web sites.

To obtain a valid UB ID Card you must:

  1. Be a UB student currently registered for courses.
  2. Have a valid photo ID as proof of identity - a Drivers License or non-drivers license issued by a DMV, a passport and US Military ID are all accepted.
  3. Pay a $20 fee.

UB Card offices are located at the Commons on the North Campus. Hours are:
Monday-Thursday from 9am-6pm and Friday 9am-5pm.
