Health Requirements

As a UB student, the following heath services requirements must be met:

Immunization

New York State law requires that all students born on or after January 1, 1957, show proof of immunity against Measles, Mumps, and Rubella before they may register for class. There is also a requirement to show proof of meningitis immunizations. All immunization requirements may be found at:

Medical Insurance

The University at Buffalo requires all full-time and international exchange students to have medical insurance coverage. Students may waive the plan by providing proof of comparable coverage and submitting a waiver by the due date of their tuition bill for the semester.
