The Center for Continuing and Professional Education (CCPE) extends our reach beyond the traditional classroom. We offer short 1 credit hour courses both on campus and online to explore topics and subjects that have been identified as critical and timely, in areas we teach and research in. Whether you are enhancing your skill base to move ahead in your career, adding to your professional knowledge, exploring new subjects, or just eager to learn about new and cutting-edge ideas and practices, we are sure you will find courses through our Center that will fulfill your interest on a variety of topics. Best of all, you can do this at a flagship university that has served our community for more than a century.

Through CCPE, you will learn from faculty who are well recognized in their area of expertise and practitioners who bring their experience to the classroom in ways that foster and promote a learning climate infused with passion and dynamism. Our courses are formatted to provide the most information in the shortest period of time. So explore GSE through our Center; you just might decide to continue your studies through our formal degree and certificate programs.

Please note: We are suspending admission for the 1-credit Continuing and Professional Education courses for the fall 2017 semester. We will not be offering 1-credit courses this coming semester.

If you are interested in continuing your education with a 3-credit hour course as a non-matriculated student, please be sure to view our non-matriculated course list by visiting our Non-Matric Course List.
