Alumni & Friends
Fellow GSE Alumni,
My fondest memories as a student in the Graduate School of Education involve the people I met along the way, and the lifelong personal and professional relationships we developed.
As an alumnus, you have spent a considerable amount of time together in community with others—peers, colleagues, and professors. The Graduate School of Education Alumni Association exists, in part, to provide you with lifelong opportunities to strengthen those UB relationships and develop new ones.
Membership in the GSE Alumni Association is conferred with your degree, and you are welcome to participate at whatever level your schedule or interests permit—whether socializing after a board meeting with fellow alumni, serving as a mentor for those new to the field, or participating in our HIRE Ed conference, where distinguished alumni share their wealth of professional experience with current students and recent graduates.
Of course, your monetary support is most welcome to help sustain these programs designed to support and build community with our fellow alumni. When you donate to the Graduate School of Education, know that you may in fact designate your gift specifically to your GSE Alumni Association, and I would ask that you consider doing so.
Best wishes to you in all your endeavors. I do hope to see you at one of our events.
Jeffery Hazel (Ed.M. ’09, Educational Administration)
