Information Sessions for Prospective Students

studentsGSE hosts a variety of on-campus and virtual information sessions so that you can be well-informed about different programs within our departments. These sessions are scheduled at various times throughout the year. Information session events will be posted on this page. All sessions are open to the public, and can be registered for using online links below.

During these sessions, the admission process, program requirements, and other points of interest are described. The sessions are a great opportunity to ask specific questions about our programs.

Financial Aid Information Session
The Graduate School of Education, in partnership with the Office of Financial Aid, will host an information session to discuss issues surrounding financial health as a student and future graduate. You will have the opportunity to have your important financial questions answered and to take advantage of one-on-one sessions to address more personal, sensitive questions.

Session: Advanced Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Counseling

Audience: Those interested in the Advanced Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Counseling Program.
Information: Dr. Wendy Guyker, program director for the Advanced Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Counseling, will be online to answer your questions about the program. This ‘bridge’ program is designed for students who have completed a master's degree in counseling (or closely related field) and desire to complete the educational requirements to be a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). This program is available online and on-campus. Applications are due November 1st for the Spring 2015 semester.
