Clinical Experience

Dr. Lee is a vocational evaluator, a certified rehabilitation counselor, and is licensable as a psychologist. She has worked with clients and patients with work-related physical injuries (pain, cumulative trauma disorders, traumatic brain injuries), psychological/mental health disabilities (chronic pain, depression, severe and persistent mental illness), substance abuse, and vocational disabilities. Clinical and intervention include physical and functional capacity evaluation, psychotherapy and groups (process and psycho-educational) for caregivers and patients with different disabilities.

Research Interests

  • Psychosocial adjustment among caregivers and people with disabilities. Target population includes adults with chronic pain and chronic illness, as well as children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders.
  • Vocational issues and profiles of adolescents with autism spectrum disorders.

Professional Memberships and National Services

Dr. Lee is a member of Division 22 (Rehabilitation Psychology) of the American Psychological Association (APA), the National Council on Rehabilitation Education (NCRE), American Counseling Association (ACA) and the New York Rehabilitation Counseling Association.

She is a federal grant reviewer on the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) and research program reviewer for NCRE.

Dr. Lee serves on the editorial board for the following national/international research journals:
